BANQUET COOK , Endicott House , to prepare all meals, including breakfast, lunch, receptions, dinner, and coffee breaks. Tasks will include frying, sauteing, steaming, roasting, braising, baking, grilling, and broiler work; assisting the executive chef with the monthly inventory and proper storage and food controls; maintaining a clean and sanitary work area according to established standards and as required by the Dedham Board of Health; and performing sanitation duties such as cleaning work stations, pots, pans, equipment, tools, and floors.
Job Requirements REQUIRED : high school diploma or its equivalent; experience in banquet production and service; knowledge of portion control, preparation, and serving standards; basic knowledge of cooking techniques and recipes; ability to compute recipe conversions when necessary and to work independently and in a group environment; a creative approach to menu item preparation; and punctuality.
