Utilizes the nursing process for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide safe, therapeutic care of adult patients undergoing Cardiac Catheterization procedures, Cardiac Electrophysiology procedures, and pre-procedural care and recovery of Adult Invasive Cardiology Patients.
Functions as a member of the interdisciplinary and nursing teams; carries out established nursing procedures and performs related duties as required; performs nursing care for patients with more complex needs with assistance and supervision.
Assists with the management of patient care administered by other members of the nursing team.
This position will be required to orient and flex for organizational need to cover all areas of the department including the Interventional Cardiac Catheterization labs, the Cardiac Electrophysiology labs, the Holding Room and the Procedure Room.
