The Staff Research Associate I (SRA I) position exists to contribute to active research in Dr. Lakkaraju lab including understanding the cellular mechanisms that drive vision loss in inherited and age-related macular degenerations. The candidate will perform experiments under the direction of the Principal Investigator (PI) or other lab members. This will include in vivo experiments using mice and in vitro experiments using cellular, biochemical, and imaging approaches. Under supervision, the candidate will be expected to document analysis and research findings using MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Prism software. The candidate will be also expected to actively participate in lab meetings by presenting their experimental data and discussing with other lab members.
