The UCSF Partnerships for Research in Implementation Science for Equity (PRISE) Center is looking for an inaugural Senior Program Manager who will independently direct and administer a moderately-sized new research center with responsibility for programmatic and administrative functions. The Senior Program Manager will work closely with PRISE Center Co-Directors and Program Directors to lead short and long-term Center planning, including development of a strategic plan that addresses Center vision, mission, governance structure, affiliations, and goals and objectives. The Senior Program Manager will have responsibility for the overall implementation of the strategic plan and will lead development and execution of day-to-day Center operations, including developing and executing staffing plans as the Center grows and insuring research grants, collaborations and training programs are functioning well and meeting key targets and milestones. The Senior Program Manager will independently oversee all administrative functions of the Center, including financial, human resource, agreements/MOUs and facilities.
The Senior Program Manager will lead Center efforts to identify and purse new funding opportunities and revenue streams. This will include overseeing PRISE Center development efforts within UCSF and with outside donors and partners. The Senior Program Manager will support efforts to facilitate strong working relationships with various UCSF centers/faculty and outside partners, including local and state government, businesses, community-based organizations and donors. The Senior Program Manager will lead efforts to partner with internal and external agencies to promote the Center activities. This will include developing and overseeing implementation of a comprehensive communications plan that includes an updated website, monthly or quarterly newsletter, social media accounts and promotion through other communications channels, such as quarterly webinars. Additional responsibilities will include assessing the Center's effectiveness and assisting with Center research and research administration.
