The Temporary Employment Program (TEP) is an internal UCSF based temporary employment program that provides temporary labor to all departments. TEP offers opportunities for the San Francisco Bay Area community to gain access and valuable UCSF work experience and offers temporary employees exceptional benefits not offered by other temporary agencies.
TEP is seeking a temporary Health Professions Education Specialist 2 through approximately January 31, 2022. Please note this position is partially on-site at Parnassus campus 3 days per week, and remote the other two.
The Internal Medicine Residency Program is a vital component of the UCSF Department of Medicine's Educational mission. It is the largest residency program at UCSF (181 trainees) and is nationally recognized for excellence by the ACGME (Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education). Duties to include:
Verify Internal Medicine Residents for credentialing and licensing, includes completing verification forms and follow up with payments
Will be assisting with catering lunches between the hours of 11 am - 1 pm, 3 days per week at Parnassus (meeting vendor downstairs with cart; bringing up cart and setting food out on tables; ensuring table cleared afterwards).
Assist Residency Manager with operational components specific to the employment of trainees which may include GME and human resources onboarding; appointment paperwork; credentialing; (FTE tracking); benefits and leave reporting
Assist schedulers with creating Google sheets and Excel documents
Assist schedulers with tracking of residency moonlighting shifts
Assist with MedHub evaluations reporting
Assist with meal card funding for residents
Recruitment planning, calendaring and meeting support for residency meetings and events
Purchase meeting materials and office supplies as necessary following UCSF policies and procedures
Process and submit reimbursements
