The Staff Research Associate II (SRA II) will mainly perform the analysis of environmental chemicals in samples submitted to fulfill our collaborative work at George Mason University. The SRA II will also assist in running drugs and environmental chemicals in small batches of samples submitted through our recharge system. This position is responsible for receiving, processing, storing and archiving samples and running them on the LC-MS/MS and LC-QTOF/MS. The individual is also responsible for the analysis of the raw data we generate from LC-MS runs and the preparation of analysis reports we submit to our collaborators. The SRA II will also assist in the development and validation of new methods required of some of the surveillance projects. All or some of the above may or may not be under general supervision of the Doctor depending on the SRA II's qualifications and past experience.
