The PARTI study is a 5-year National Institutes of Health (NIH)-funded randomized clinical trial (RCT) of a behavioral intervention to improve engagement in PrEP and reduction in HIV acquisition for sexual minority men. Under the direction of the Principal Investigator (PI) and Project Director (PD), the primary responsibilities of the Behavioral Health Counselor 2 (Intervention Counselor) will be to deliver a positive affect behavioral intervention to stimulant using individuals according to a research protocol. The position uses professional concepts. Activities will include scheduling, tracking, documenting, and delivering counseling sessions with research participants, attending weekly group supervision sessions and training meetings, and crisis intervention and consultation as needed.
