The Senior Therapist, Occupational Therapist III, reports to the Clinical Supervisor, Occupational Therapy and provides both direct and indirect patient care services. The Therapist works with pediatric and adolescent patients from diverse socioeconomic and cultural backgrounds. The Therapist demonstrates a solid knowledge base within a wide range of diagnoses including general medicine, orthopedics, neurology, and cardiopulmonary in the pediatric setting. Under general supervision and within a specific therapy discipline, the Therapist independently performs complex patient evaluations and therapeutic interventions; serves as a mentor to staff and consultant to other medical professionals in patient evaluations, therapeutic intervention planning or intervention requiring discipline specific skills.
