This position will be responsible for comprehensive management of the Dean's Office operations. The Administrative Coordinator will serve as the liaison to the college and university functional offices. The position is responsible for providing high-level administrative support to the Associate Deans of Engineering. Performs a wide variety of tasks that require ingenuity, resourcefulness, independent judgment, discretion, and flexibility. Interacts with faculty, staff, University Central Administration, political figures, college advisory board members, industry leaders, stakeholders, and the general public. Manages the daily schedule for the Dean's Office, including scheduling appointments, making national and international travel arrangements, screen incoming calls and correspondence on behalf of the Associate Deans. Composes and prepares confidential correspondence, reports, and other complex documents. Performs complex and confidential administrative functions. Facilitate and/or coordinate meetings including high-profile conferences and workshops. Coordinates work with other Colleges, Universities, departments, and other organizations.

Minimum Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree plus two years of progressively responsible experience to include work in a business or customer service environment; equivalent education/experience considered.
Experience supervising employees. Proficiency in document/report preparation and formatting in Word and Excel. Experience must demonstrate excellent communication (written and verbal), interpersonal, organizational, and detail orientation skills. Ability to work effectively with multiple deadlines and professionally with students, faculty, staff, and community groups.
The ideal candidate may have a Bachelor's degree. Prefer 2 years of experience at an institution of higher education. Knowledge of College and University policies and procedures preferred.
Posted Salary: $19.23/hr minimum
