The Athletics Box Office Assistant reports to the Athletic Box Office Manager and is responsible for matters pertaining to customer service, athletic ticket sales and operations, distribution of marketing materials, special event preparation, and administrative information systems. The Box Office Assistant helps execute a comfortable ticket purchasing atmosphere for customers making the buying process easy, customer-friendly and revenue-enhancing.
Minimum of 1-2 years in a high-volume customer service environment
Proficient in Excel, Word, Powerpoint, and other computer applications
Expected to work weekends, holidays, and nighttime hours
Highly effective telephone, computer, and organizational skills
The ability to maintain composure and professionalism during periods of peak demand
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Commitment to the highest level of customer service
