Under the direction of the Associate Director, provide leadership for UNH Extensionâs Natural Resources Program Team in the development of plans of work, program implementation, evaluation, and reporting. Supervise Natural Resources Area of Expertise (AoE) chairs and state specialists, and as appropriate, field specialists and program managers. Actively participate in Extension leadership efforts such as strategic planning and the development of organization-wide initiatives, policies, and procedures. Build and maintain substantive partnerships with state and federal agency and department heads, elected officials, and key leaders of organizations and associations in NH.
1. Masterâs degree in a discipline strongly tied to the program team including forestry, wildlife, or land, and water conservation/management 2. Experience in educational program development 3. At least five years in a position where the candidate has developed leadership skills 4. Track record of successfully supervising employees
