UW Medical Center - Montlake has an outstanding opportunity for a Assistant Nurse Manager/Nurse Coordinator (RN3) to join our Vascular Interventional Radiology team. This individual will provide excellent nursing care to patients in the Radiology Department and perform the charge nurse role as needed, providing clear direction to staff and coordination of department flow and nursing resources, and demonstrating the ability to be flexible, organized and highly functional during stressful situations. This RN3 also will demonstrate excellent communication skills, provide feedback, counseling and guidance to staff, observe and review staff performance, assist in providing a positive and supportive work environment, and provide education and orientation for nursing staff. In addition this individual will coordinate processes such as quality improvement, scheduling, staff development, workgroup and department meetings and will act as a positive role model to staff.
SCHEDULE Position is full-time, day shift.
REQUIREMENTS BSN required. Two years of professional nursing experience OR equivalent education/experience required.
LEGAL REQUIREMENTS Current license to practice as a registered nurse in the State of Washington.
DESIRED MSN preferred.
