The UNL-TAPS program is a unique farm management competition that promotes profitability and efficiency through peer-to-peer interaction. Management of the program will include administrative responsibilities, communications, event planning and marketing. Position responsible for procurement, contract discussions with vendors, seeking financial support, grant reporting and monitoring budgets. The position holder will work with University faculty, industry and Ag Service providers, local and state regulatory entities, producers, non-profit organizations, financial institutions, and funding agencies, among others to ensure the program is meeting its goals and objectives. Position will also be responsible for verifying purchases are made following UNL guidelines, determining how expenditures should be funded, and preparing financial reports to track these travel/operating expenses.

Minimum Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications, or related field plus four years in any combination of management, accounting, finance, communication, and marketing experience. Ability to use publishing, presentation, and standard office productivity software. Knowledge of current social media and web editing tools. Demonstrative knowledge of social media platforms and latest trends. Technical knowledge of producing web content. Strong interpersonal ability is essential.
Event planning, project management, and fundraising experience. Ability to adapt marketing strategies to different audiences and knowledge of measuring marketing success.
Posted Salary: $47,000/yr. minimum
