Under direction of the Events and Outreach Manager, the Events Coordinator will provide assistance and professional expertise in the planning and implementation of ORED-related activities/events and outreach efforts. Working in an energetic office, the Events Coordinator will assist in implementing key ORED events including research-related programming, major faculty/staff events, speaker series, and other related events. Events Coordinator will also maintain the ORED contact database including internal and external contacts and stakeholders. May be required to work evenings and weekends.

Minimum Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree plus 3 years of event management and administrative experience; equivalent education/experience considered. Experience creating and writing reports, memos, letters/invitations, budgets, and event materials. Proficiency with video teleconferencing, word processing, spreadsheets, databases software programs. Experience must demonstrate attention to detail and excellent planning, organization, and communication (both oral and written) skills. Ability to effectively communicate with poise and self-confidence. Proven ability to work independently and in a team environment on several projects at a time. Must have a valid driver's license and meet University driver eligibility requirements.
Proficiency with Zoom, Microsoft Word, Excel (and/or Access), and PowerPoint. Familiarity with design software, including InDesign and Photoshop.
Posted Salary: $19.177/hr. minimum
