Jefferson Community and Technical College Skills U department has an opening for a grant funded Data and Assessment Specialist I/College and Career Navigator Assistant to assist in serving Bullitt County.
The primary responsibilities are:
Implements and ensures proper data collection policies and procedures adhering to data quality standards and ensuring compliance.
Assist College and Career Navigator in duties as assigned providing support to strengthen existing partnerships with industry and business.
Assist in recruitment and retention strategies.
Administers student assessments according to test publisher and vendor guidelines.
Keeps up to date on technology and guidelines related to Kentucky Skills U approved assessments.
Enters procedure-related data into One-Stop Delivery System-related data systems (e.g., Focus Explorer, KEE Suite, etc.) for Skills U purposes as and if required.
Proctors Required approved KY Skills U assessments as well as the Kentucky Career Readiness Certificate and the Kentucky Essential Skills Certification exams as needed.
Enters data into Kentucky Adult Education Reporting System (KAERS).
Prints reports and works with instructors in ensuring Distance Learning is entered as well as post-test is administered accurately and in a timely fashion.
Participates in required professional development activities.
Understands and applies privacy law and standards.
Others duties as assigned by Jefferson Community and Technical College Skills U Director.
This position reports directly to Jefferson Community and Technical College Skills U Director
The annual salary $30,528.00.
Bachelor's degree required, four years related experience may be substituted for education. Adult Education experience is a plus. Should earn at least 750 raw scores in TABE 11/12. The individual must be comfortable multi-tasking and organized. This position requires the ability to work in a culturally diverse environment, which consist of frequent contact with a diverse constituency of students, faculty, staff, and the public.
