This recruitment will be used to fill one full-time Administrative Program Assistant position for the Advanced Technology and Manufacturing Institute at Oregon State University (OSU).
The Advanced Technology and Manufacturing Institute (ATAMI) is a unique institutional facility designed to provide support for statewide economic development for startup industries and instructional and research programs for OSUCOE and COS colleges. The organization also supports state, national and international research programs in advanced materials and manufacturing methods including Metal Additive manufacturing, advanced materials for process intensification and continuous flow processes.
ATAMI occupies 80,000 square foot of building in B11 on the HP campus, there are 7 permanent employees, 10 research professors, and approximately 50 graduate and postdoctoral students. ATAMI also is home to 12 industry companies employing approximately 140 full time researchers. ATAMI is also home to the US Governments Rapid Adoption of Process Intensification Deployment (RAPID) and is home to OSU's Advantage Accelerator team.
The purpose of the position is to serve as the ATAMI Director's confidential administrative assistant and office manager; to act as liaison between the Director's office and the general public, university, corporate, industrial and government contacts, faculty, staff students and visitors; to provide administrative support and guidance for personnel; to manage office support for building residents, and to supervise the student clerical staff. This position is also responsible for managing and executing facility access processes, tenant lease processes, landlord issue reporting, and managing building amenities, maintaining the ATAMI website as a key communication tool and marketing tool. This position will continuously improve, and streamline assigned processes.
Three years of office experience which included two years at full performance level and experience generating documents; and Lead work responsibility or coordination of office procedures.
