Senior Admissions Specialist (Student Services Associate I - MR03)

The Senior Admissions Specialist is the front line for the admissions office. The position interacts with the public at large through the phone and in person walk-ins. This will extend into our tour process where this position will help prepare for our daily visitors. Additionally, the position will be vital in the implementation of a new ticketing system. The Senior Admissions Specialist will provide the initial entry and management of tickets for students and their families as well as selecting next steps for each ticket to be handed off or solved.
Duties and Responsibilities
Answers questions from prospective students and their families, both over the phone and in-person - includes referrals and/or handoffs to admissions counselors, evaluation counselors, or management staff of the office; opens postal mail and downloads electronic mail; directs ID'd mail to the correct members of the processing team; scans each document to ensure it is held in the document management system; works with the Tour Coordinator to ensure a smooth arrival process for incoming guests; during arrival process, processes documents, prepares arrival documents, and contacts departments to arrange for meetings with prospective students; creates tickets for trouble cases in Team Dynamix ticketing system (collects information and routes to responsible party); and processes incoming checks, money orders, and cash received for application payments.

Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or GED; experience in a fast paced office setting; and computer skills.
Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree; prior higher education experience; and prior experience working with computer systems.
