Description of Position The Lead Worker position is responsible for the day-to-day supervision of the customer service area. Additional duties include cash room/reconciliation tasks, responding to customer inquiries and student communication. This full-time position reports directly to the Customer Service Supervisor.
Ensure the Bookstores’ high standard of customer service is being provided. Supervise the customer service student staff including assigning daily duties. Record student attendance and performance issues Serve as first contact for the Bookstore, troubleshoot transaction problems and customer issues. Respond to customer/student inquiries Train new students and approve student payroll hours. Maintain strict cash handling and service desk procedures. Assist with daily cash room duties, new employee orientations, store openings/closings and store security Work at Twin Cities System Stores and special events as needed.

Work is performed mainly in a retail store and office setting with some office/computer work. Primarily scheduled work days are Tuesday through Saturday, 40 hours per week.
Work Hours: 8am - 10pm: Varies seasonally
Starting Hourly Rate: $16.98
High School Diploma/GED and one-year general office/clerical experience. Training/education may substitute for some of the experience. Requires knowledge and/or demonstrated ability to perform general office tasks. Specific knowledge/skills may be required. Experience training others and a demonstrated ability to lead. 1 year customer service and cash handling experience in a retail environment Proficiency with Microsoft Office products and Google Software platforms.
