The Department of Philosophy at Princeton University may have occasional openings for Lecturers to teach precepts for undergraduate courses during the 2021-2022 academic year. These courses may focus on areas such as ethics, logic and introductory philosophy. Serving in a preceptor capacity requires leading weekly discussions, attending course lectures, meeting with the course instructor(s), holding regular on-campus office hours, and grading student exams and papers. Appointment duty time will depend upon student enrollment, and positions may begin September 1, 2021 or January 16, 2022 depending on the needs of the department.
