a classroom environment to students with a variety of academic backgrounds and experiences.
Adjunct instructors needed to teach Computer Science courses at the Woodbridge campus of Northern Virginia Community College (NOVA). Courses may be taught during daytime, evening and/ or Saturday hours.
Adjunct faculty are employed to teach up to 12 credit hours in the fall and spring semester and/or up to 8 credit hours during summer session. Teaching load is based upon student enrollment and staffing needs.
Adept knowledge of instructional technologies
Excellent interpersonal and oral/written communication skills
Ability to work with a diverse student population
Minimum requirements: Masterâ™s Degree in Computer Science or a Masterâ™s with at least 18 graduate semester hours in Computer Science.
