New York University, Stern School of Business has an exciting opportunity for an Associate Director, Fashion & Luxury MBA in the Office of Student Engagement. The Associate Director will manage the student experience life cycle for the Fashion & Luxury MBA (F&L) program. In this program management role, the Associate Director will collaborate with colleagues in Admissions, Student Engagement and Career Services to manage all aspects of the student life cycle. The Associate Director will strengthen Stern’s brand positioning within the Fashion & Luxury segment by cultivating industry-specific relationships with corporate partners, F&L council members and alumni to build a strong pipeline of opportunities to integrate into various aspects of the program. The Associate Director will also lead a cross functional working group on the F&L MBA program and act as a primary contact for students and a liaison to the appropriate people and groups. The position will develop and track key metrics to inform decision making and present recommendations for improvements to existing services or the creation of new ones.
The selected candidate will have a bachelor’s degree (MBA or master’s degree preferred) and 5 years of relevant experience working within the Fashion & Luxury sector or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Must include experience in a service business that requires managing multiple tasks/ projects, working with external parties, and satisfying multiple high-level constituencies. A proven ability to cultivate relationships, launch new educational initiatives, along with excellent project management, networking, and verbal and written communication skills are required.
