The Center for Industrial Research and Service (CIRAS) at Iowa State University, is seeking qualified candidates for a Project Manager to support the College of Engineeringâs (CoE) Capstone Program. The Program Manager will develop relationships with manufacturing leaders, assessing the current state of manufacturing operations, and assisting in developing and implementing detailed plans to provide significant improvements in productivity through design and process engineering projects utilizing the Capstone Program. In addition, this position will support CoE Departments to ensure programmatic requirements are maintained.
The successful candidate will possess demonstrated excellence across a broad set of experiences implementing change within businesses. Critical skills include process engineering, relationship building, business and manufacturing acumen, excellent verbal and written communication skills; interpersonal skills; exceptional critical thinking, analytic and problem-solving skills; ability to deal with ambiguity; and strong time management skills. All staff members are expected to maintain the highest standards of integrity and ethical behavior.
Some travel within the state of Iowa will be required for meetings and events.
