Experience with data collection, database management and descriptive analysis. The College of Human SciencesSchool of Education (SOE) is accepting applications for a Graduate Student Services Specialist to provide graduate student services and admissions support for current and potential graduate students.
The SOE supports the personal growth, goal achievement, and meaningful lives of students by partnering with staff, faculty, and the greater community to educate and empower our students by providing access to high impact experiences. This position will focus heavily on database administration.
Example of Duties
Advises prospective students on how to apply for graduate program admission.
Manage information systems project processes including but not limited to DocFinity, Qualtrics, and Workday.
Facilitates the selection process, including review and evaluation of candidates, interviews, and supports selection committees making recommendations regarding final admission decisions.
Level Guidelines â¢ Intermediate-level position with solid professional and/or technical skills working under general supervision to achieve goals â¢ Applies broad, working knowledge of the principles of the field to moderately complex, difficult, and varied problems and issues â¢ Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action and resolve problems â¢ Responds to a broad range of inquiries and requests â¢ May provide training and/or direction to lower-level staff â¢ May lead projects of moderate scope and complexity. â¢ Provides guidance to students
