Supports the institutional globalization and diversity strategy by developing and implementing creative experiential opportunities that enhance the ability of students to interact and learn across cultural boundaries. Organizes and coordinates all types of inter-cultural experiences including overseas exchange programs, third party study abroad programs, and faculty-led field courses. Provides support for faculty in designing and implementing field courses. Recruits and advises students who will pursue overseas experiences as part of their YSU student career. Manages risk in developing and implementing programs.
At least a bachelor's degree and one year of experience working in a professional environment.
Prior experience as a study abroad student; demonstrated intermediate proficiency in a foreign language, significant experience working or living internationally.
