The College of New Jersey (TCNJ) has an opportunity for a part-time (20 hours/week) Consulting Psychiatrist in our student Counseling and Preventional Services (CAPS) department, a division of TCNJ Student Affairs. TCNJ, located in Ewing, NJ is a highly selective public residential college focusing on the undergraduate experience.
The Consulting Psychiatrist provides routine and emergent psychiatric services (medication evaluation and follow-ups) to TCNJ students, provides formal and informal consultation to CAPS staff (therapists, trainees, and other Student Health Service (SHS) staff) and maintains accurate and timely documentation for all clinical interactions and consultations through our database management system.. This position administratively reports to the Director of CAPS.
