The Oracle Business Intelligence Solution Architect will serve as the architect for the data warehouse and business intelligence projects. The Solution Architect will be responsible for providing the full solution cycle for Oracle BI implementations. This includes requirements gathering, functional specifications, data modeling, configuration, security, technical specifications, installation, development/customizations, testing, system administration, training, and support.
Bachelor's degree and 4 years of related experience or associate's degree and 6 years of related experience or high school diploma and 8 years of related experience.
Preferred Education and Experience:
Ten plus years of experience creating and customizing repositories, as well as creating custom reports and dashboards. Ten plus years of ETL (E-LT) experience in development, testing, and documentation. Completed multiple full solution cycle projects with HR Analytics and Financial Analytics or Student Analytics utilizing PeopleSoft as the source system.
BS in Business or Computer Science degree
Experience with 5+ projects as the Lead Solution Architect/Technical Lead
Experience with 8+ full solution cycle Oracle BI Implementations
5+ years Oracle Business Intelligence Applications – Version 184.108.40.206.2 or higher. Specific experience with HR Analytics and Financial Analytics versions 220.127.116.11.2 (Student Information Analytics experience a plus
Experience with customization and configuration of OBIA
Experience customizing ODI mappings
Knowledge of BIACM/FSM is required and essential
Experience of setting up and configuring Oracle BI Applications with PeopleSoft as the source is essential
Experience with Data Warehouse best practices, especially in the area of Extract, Load, and Transform (E-LT) methodologies
Strong experience with the pre-built Oracle BI Application
Very strong experience with Oracle Data Integrator ELT tool within the context of OBIA
10+ years ETL experience (5+ years Oracle Data Integrator – Version 18.104.22.168.0 or higher)
5+ years of experience with pre-built Oracle BI Application and data warehouses
10+ years OBIEE 11g/12c
10+ years setting-up and configuring OBIEE security – repository and RPD file security
10+ years Oracle 12c/19c databases
Experience with Higher Education

Integration of OBIEE with PeopleSoft I-HUB (Portal) and enable SSO Authentication a plus
Good working knowledge of job scheduling and monitoring tools
Experience with OAS or OAC
