The Interventional Radiology Department has an outstanding opportunity for a REGISTERED NURSE.
SCHEDULE Per diem, 8 hours per shift, variable days per week.
RESPONSIBILITIES: This Registered Nurse is responsible for providing triage assessment, nursing diagnosis, and evaluating all aspects of nursing care for each discipline within the procedural areas (Endoscopy, Electrophysiology, Cardiac Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology and Cardiac Procedure Unit). The emphasis of care is to review all pertinent patient health history, physician orders and patient needs to formulate and prioritize a plan for the procedural care. This RN will show initiative and seek knowledge to improve patient pre procedure processes and will coordinate with all members of the interdisciplinary care team. Attention to detail and excellent communication skills are necessary in order to ensure the admission process is complete prior to all procedures.
This position requires 1-2 years previous experience in a Procedural Area
Current license to practice as a registered nurse in the State of Washington
2 years of acute care nursing experience
