The multimedia producer will be a big part of Michigan Medicine’s livestream and podcasting efforts as well as produce video content as part of our Creative Services Team.
Specific duties include:
Design and develop weekly podcasts focusing on news and research from around Michigan Medicine.
Direct and produce livestreams that promote various healthcare topics.
Collaborate with Department of Communication team members to develop stories and content that focus on the extraordinary care and groundbreaking research here at Michigan Medicine.
Collaborate with other members of the creative services team to optimize creative direction of visual branding efforts and other multimedia projects.
Two to four years of experience in advertising, communications, marketing or digital media.
The ability to work independently and efficiently on concurrent projects and to develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal staff and outside partners/vendors.
Demonstrated experience managing projects in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with daily deadlines.
Collaborative approach to work with a positive, upbeat, professional and responsible attitude.
Experience working collaboratively to set goals, implement projects, and assess success.
Ability to handle many projects, often at the same time, through their entire life cycle in collaboration with internal and external team members.
Exceptional communication skills.
Demonstrable proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
Experience with different livestream and podcasting applications and websites.
Bachelor's degree in fine arts or mass communication.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite
Advertising agency or online publishing experience
Experience with digital asset management systems
General familiarity and experience with streaming software and social media sites
Core business hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. Occasional nights and weekends may be required.
The salary for this position will be based upon the selected candidates education and experience.
