The USC School of Architecture is seeking an Executive Assistant with strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills to join its team! The Executive Assistant will report to the Dean and administer the operations of the Deanâs Office. Under the general supervision of the Dean, the Executive Assistant, is charged with the responsibility of implementing directives of the Deanâs office, managing the Deanâs calendar, briefing the Dean on matters related to his office, screening visitors and calls and coordinates travel, project management, and high level communication across the School and University.

Major Job Accountabilities:
Administers operations of the Deanâs office. May include ensuring departmentâs conformity to university policies and procedures and resolving complex departmental problems. Maintains currency on revisions to department and school-university policies and procedures. Analyzes department operations, prepare reports, including conclusions.
Establishes and maintains contact with faculty/ or staff members reporting directly to the Dean, monitors the progress of department programs and project, and apprises supervisor of progress toward and attainment of departmental goals.
Manages special projects on behalf of the Dean.Â Assists information of ad hoc committees and monitors progress toward completion of assigned tasks. Ensures committee reports and recommendations are submitted on time. Follows up with implementation, as appropriate.
Develops and maintains effective communications program within the department. Ensures timely reciprocal exchange of information between the Dean or other university executive or staff.
Assists in development, preparation, and delivery of reports, publications, speeches, presentations, official correspondence, as needed or as assigned by the Dean or other university executives.
Minimum Education:Â Bachelor's degree
Minimum Experience:Â 5 years
Minimum Field of Expertise:Â Experience in supervising administrative operations of multi-faceted department.Â
