Research Support - Laboratory/Non-Laboratory, Staff/Administrative
Position provides testing and phlebotomy and services per protocol for patients enrolled in study for department. Responsible for behavior assessment interviews and data entry.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Interact with children ages 0-3 in various experimental settings including interviews and dyadic behavioral assessments between caregiver and child. Coordinate coding of the assessments at an established coding pace and reliability.
Enter coding data into software specific to observational coding and track reliability among coders.
Assist with maintenance of behavioral tasks, including ordering, preparing, and maintaining tasks materials, and periodic review of task protocols to ensure standardized task administration.
Screen, consent, and schedule participants via phone and in-person as research protocols dictate.
Administer 3-4 behavioral assessments per week to parent-child dyads, overseeing set-up, coding, and data entry in a timely manner.
Maintain protocol-related records and documentation using REDCap database.
Administrative tasks such as organizing and managing subject databases, tracking and ordering supplies, working with the IRB to oversee compliance of research protocol.
Interactive communication skills with ability to work with physicians and patients.
Must have strong interpersonal, organizational, and phlebotomy skills.
Bachelorâ™s degree or four years of relevant experience.
$16.17 - $23.47 / HourlyThe salary range reflects base salaries paid for positions in a given job grade across the University. Individual rates within the range will be determined by factors including one's qualifications and performance, equity with others in the department, market rates for positions within the same grade and department budget.
