The principal purpose of the Project Coordinator is to coordinate research project activities, participate in research tasks, and to synthesize information for various grant funded projects. Ensure that MASEP Research and Development team runs smoothly, completes project deliverables, and meets deadlines.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Provide editorial support to the PI. Proofing and formatting of journal articles, reports, and grant application components. Conduct literature searches for research project publications. Locate and retrieve or request specific reports, articles, and books as needed. 2. Management of the team's Endnote library 3. Provide support to the PI in the grant writing process in the form of pulling finding opportunities, budget drafting, budget justifications, compilation of estimated travel and conference expenses, and completing university paperwork. Position is expected to maintain knowledge of current SF424 requirements. 4. Project Coordinator is expected to liaise with project partners and stakeholders as needed regarding project goals. 5. Extensive project tracking is expected. Project Coordinator will develop systems to ensure timely conduct of research goals and completion of deliverables, as well as developing instructional protocols for those systems. They will train all project staff on specific systems. Documentation and records will be maintained for all projects, with expected knowledge of all current projects, staff, and tasks, with an eye toward completion deadlines. 6. Extensive oversight and management of the MASEP Online program and other MASEP R and D duties as needed, including maintenance of the MASEP website, backup database management, and handling of MASEP assessment forms. 7. Some database management will be required, including development and maintenance of project specific datasets, data entry, and data checking. 8. Position will assist in survey development, including formatting and drafting of paper versions and programming of electronic editions into Qualtrics or other survey software. 9. Create basic charts and diagrams from project data as needed via Excel, PowerPoint, and other diagram design software. 10. Position is expected to research and learn software and technical processes as needed for projects and to provide technical assistance as needed. 11. Assorted administrative tasks, including renewal of professional memberships, coordination and scheduling of meetings and webinars, maintenance of team schedule, management and dissemination of project incentives, maintenance of all consent records for all projects, creating and formatting PowerPoint presentations and posters, and completion of required university paperwork for travel, IRB, and procurement. 12. Supervise graduate and undergraduate students as needed.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
* Excellent administrative, organizational, interpersonal, and leadership skills. * Well-developed interpersonal, teamwork, verbal and written communication skills * Demonstrated ability to manage/coordinate multiple tasks. * Independent self-starter with strong work ethic. * Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat required
Working Conditions and Physical Effort
* No unusual physical requirements. Requires limited lifting of files and records and nearly all work is performed in a comfortable indoor facility. * Frequent External imposed deadlines; set and revised beyond one's control; interruptions influence priorities; difficult to anticipate nature or volume of work with certainty beyond a few days; meeting of deadlines and coordination of unrelated activities are key to position; involves conflict-resolution or similar interactions involving emotional issues or stress on a regular basis. * Job frequently requires walking, sitting, reaching, talking, hearing, handling objects with hands.
