Under the direction of the Research Project Coordinator this position will support the activities of the SOAR and TKR studies focused on monitoring behavioral intervention for opioid exposure reduction program for patients undergoing orthopedics surgery.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Interviews participants and administers follow-up questionnaires per protocol.
Schedules participants for visit.
Enters data in a relational database in real-time while interviewing participants and administering questionnaires
Reviews entered data after each study visit for accuracy and completeness.
Tracks participants schedule timeline to ensure completion of study visits.
Reviews participant recovery information to include pain levels, exercises, and medication use.
Performs administrative duties such as calling, texting, emailing and other notices to participants, maintains schedule calendar, and attends weekly staff meetings.
Completes special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
