The HRIS Manager will report directly to the Human Resources Director as a technical subject matter expert for building, maintaining, and optimizing our HRIS platforms.

Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Computer Science or a related field and a minimum of five years of directly related HRIS System experience. Extensive experience specifically in Banner, PeopleAdmin, and Cognos preferred, but not required.
Knowledge & Skills:
Knowledge of principles, practices and standards of human resource as it relates to HR systems
Advanced knowledge of Banner and PeopleAdmin and related human resource information systems (HRIS) and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)
Demonstrated experience creating custom reports in Banner or comparable system
Very strong Excel, Office, and Google Suite skills required
Possess project management and analytical skills
Ability to multi-task and prioritize projects
Requires expert understanding of HR (payroll, personnel, benefits, recruitment, budget) including HR processes, and compliance
Will need to develop a comprehensive knowledge of the Illinois Tech systems
