Maysville Community & Technical College is accepting applications for the following staff position on the MAYSVILLE CAMPUS:
CUSTODIAL WORKER II
This position performs basic janitorial duties, minor building maintenance tasks, and grounds-keeping, maintaining a safe, clean and pleasant atmosphere for students, faculty and staff. This position will begin as 1st shift, however, hours may vary, this position can require working 2nd shift.
Duties include but are not limited to:
Performs daily cleaning and disinfecting of classrooms and offices such as dusting, taking out trash, cleaning windows and vacuuming.
Performs daily cleaning, disinfecting and maintenance of restrooms.
Performs minor repairs and may assist maintenance technician in minor repairs.
Maintains grounds with picking up trash.
Performs floor maintenance such as shampooing carpet, sweeping & mopping.
Helps with setup during special events, graduations, etc.
Other duties as assigned.
High School/GED, and six months related experience, or equivalent.
Occasionally lift up to 100 pounds.
