Prepare food items, outgoing orders and serve food to customers.
The schedule for this position is Sunday 11:45am to 8pm; Monday to Thursday 12:45pm to 9:00pm
Washes dishes and/or pots
Assist cooks (meat/dairy) as directed
Maintains high level of sanitation in immediate area
Sweeps and mops kitchen floors
Performs other related duties as assigned
Experience & Educational Background:
High School Diploma plus 1-2 years of related experience is required
NYC Food Handler Certification preferred
Knowledge of Kosher dietary laws is preferred
Skills & Competencies:
Good organization skills. Must be able to handle food according to established sanitary guidelines
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Speaks to clients and colleagues in a respectful and thoughtful manner
