9 month academic year position – August through May
Provide quality comprehensive care for all student-athletes through prevention, evaluation, care and treatment of injuries and illnesses and assist with injury rehabilitation.
Screening and referral of student-athletes to Barnes Center physicians when appropriate
Serve as the certified athletic trainer for sport club program: including practice and home game coverage.
Compile and maintain injury and treatment documentation for the Barnes Center medical staff.
Communicate with coaches and athletic department staff on various issues, including but not limited to: the Sports Medicine Department policies and procedures, student-athlete status, restrictions and treatment/rehabilitation, appointment compliance and progress
Assist Barnes Center physicians and staff with the operation of clinic hours.
Assist with upkeep of the facilities, emergency equipment and modalities.
Communicate with Barnes Center Recreation staff on various issues, including student-athlete status, restrictions and treatment/rehabilitation appointment compliance.
