The Registration Representative is responsible for timely and appropriate review of all registration accounts through EPIC. Meeting efficiency for accuracy and number of accounts registered daily and weekly. Identifies and raises any issues and trends to Billing Systems Coordinator. Utilizes RTE and all available individual insurance websites for coverage verification.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Registers all accounts timely and accurately according to demands of different client groups.
Ensures that all information is complete and required fields entered.
Enters all demographic information in appropriate fields.
Enters appropriate coverage.
Enters insurance address, ID#, subscriber information complete and accurately.
Utilizes Passport and/or other methods of insurance verification as appropriate.
Forwards completed, registered charge tickets to Coding and/or Data Processing.
High school diploma or GED required.
Three (3) years of experience in a large billing/collection/registration office. EPIC experience highly preferred.
