Columbia Memorial Hospital (CMH) located in Astoria, Oregon is a full service, 25-bed, critical access, not-for-profit, Planetree-Certified hospital where person-centered care is a priority. We are seeking a Physician Assistant to serve the efforts of OHSU and CMH in improving the health of all Oregonians. This position will serve as an OHSU Clinical Associate providing clinical care within the CMH Orthopedics & Sports Medicine Clinic at Columbia Memorial Hospital. OHSU Clinical Associates are fully embedded physician and advanced practice provider members of the OHSU Practice Plan (OPP) who deliver care at OHSU-affiliated settings and devote 100 percent of their time to patient care.
Provide outpatient services at one (1) CMH clinic: CMH Orthopedics & Sports Medicine Clinic. Clinic schedule is 1.5 clinic days each week; eight (8) hour clinic days
Call schedule: Up to seven (7) days of call per month.
OR Time: up to two (2) days will be dedicated to providing surgical first assist to the Orthopedic Surgeons in the CMH Surgical Department
Administrative and other duties may be assigned based on department needs and your areas of expertise and interest
Four (4) hours of administrative time are allotted each week
Masters Degree as required by specific Advanced Practice Provider role (PA or NP)
Demonstrated ability to work with a team of health care providers and collaborate to achieve patient care goals
Experience working in an interdisciplinary setting
Current Oregon Physician Assistant license
