APPLICATIONS SUPPORT ANALYST 2 , Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Lab (CSAIL) (part-time, 24 hrs/wk.), to coordinate and maintain single and multi-user database applications under the direction of Professor Bonnie Berger. Will provide accurate, current, and timely information to support the Computation and Biology research group's business needs; generate reports, organizing and summarizing data received from a variety of sources; and perform database maintenance and coordination group website maintenance. Responsibilities include designing and developing databases, documentation, policies, and procedures; coordinating and maintaining various database applications for the research group; writing process documentation and developing procedures for the use of supported applications; compiling reports from the database to meet the specified needs of the group; providing database quality control; investigating and resolving data and reporting inconsistencies; developing and implementing workflow, data entry, and collection procedures; collaborating with staff, students, and postdocs in the planning process and to discuss program goals; and ensuring the database provides the required information to serve group needs.
Job Requirements REQUIRED : bachelor's degree; at least three years of systems and database management, administrative, operations, and/or project management experience; intermediate-level technical and analytical skills; functional working knowledge of computer applications, servers, GPU machines, website design and the specialty area supported; experience with database administration; proficiency with database languages such as SQL; attention to detail; excellent organizational, interpersonal, data integrity, and written and verbal communication skills.
