The College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences at Drake University invites applications for adjunct health sciences instructor to teach one three credit hour section of Innovation and Leadership in Health Sciences during Fall 2021 from 11 a.m.-12:15 p.m. on Tuesday's and Thursday's. The purpose of this course is to provide students with an understanding of innovation, entrepreneurship, and intrapreneurship in the health sciences. Through class activities and self-reflection, students will have an opportunity to discover how well they are personally suited to lead, manage change, and innovate. Students will also be to basic management skills necessary to identify, evaluate and capitalize on opportunities.
We seek candidates who will be knowledgeable and committed to provide a rigorous and engaging experience for students enrolled in the course. Responsibilities include teaching the class sections, implementing the teaching materials provided, and assessing student learning. A master's degree is required in a health care/health sciences discipline or related field.
