UW Medical Center Montlake has an exciting opportunity for an experienced per diem (0% FTE, variable hours per week), day shift REGISTERED NURSE to join our Maternal and Infant Care Clinic (MICC). MICC provides comprehensive pregnancy-related services and ongoing care for women in high-risk pregnancies. Our maternal-fetal medicine clinic specializes in high-risk obstetrics, and our team of specialists provides breastfeeding support, ultrasounds, antenatal fetal testing, genetic counseling, and perinatal education for expecting mothers. MICC oversees some of the most complicated and highest risk pregnancies in the Seattle region - this is a great opportunity to join a team that always puts their patients first.
SCHEDULE: The Per Diem Registered Nurse will work variable hours per week. The MICC is open Monday-Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm.
RESPONSIBILITIES: The Registered Nurse will play a key role providing comprehensive pregnancy-related services and ongoing obstetric care. The Registered Nurse will be responsible for phone triage, patient education, care management, and general support.
2 years of current or recent ambulatory OB nursing experience
Recent Non-Stress Test (NST) experience
An active Registered Nurse license in the State of Washington
3-5 years of inpatient obstetrical care, including telephone triage and care of antepartum patients
BSN or MSN
Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) Certification
