This unpaid position supports the Athletic Facilities & Operations staff and is expected to adhere to all NCAA, Ivy League and Brown University rules, regulations and responsibilities. This includes but is not limited to facility scheduling and daily upkeep of athletic facilities, event set-up and breakdown, secondary event manager for select sports, weekly facility walk-throughs and checklist completion, communicating with visiting teams and officials, miscellaneous game-day staff, as needed.
This is an unpaid internship that does not include a room and/or board stipend. In addition, an applicant must be receiving undergraduate or graduate course credit and provide the Assistant Director of Athletics - Facilities & Operations with appropriate school documentation outlining their University's requirements for earning course credit. Position will include working during nights and weekends in support of athletic events.
Must be receiving undergraduate or graduate course credit for the fall 2021 semester.
Interest in Athletic Administration, specifically in facilities and/or event operations.
Strong attention to detail.
Strong organizational, interpersonal, communication and computer skills.
Ability to manage many projects as once.
Possess a willingness and ability to support a diverse and inclusive environment
