Advertised Job Summary:
Under the general direction of the Director for Human Resources and Business Operations, the Supervisor of Faculty Support and Grant Manager is chiefly responsible for (1) supervising the faculty support staff in providing assistance to members of the Faculty; (2) researching grant opportunities for faculty that align with faculty expertise and interest; (3) assisting faculty in developing, writing, and submitting proposals in addition to ensuring compliance with grant reporting requirements; and (4) performing the administrative duties associated with faculty hiring. The individual must be self-motivated, detail-oriented, have a demonstrable ability to supervise others, work with members of the faculty, balance multiple priorities simultaneously, and work independently with complete discretion.
Advertised Minimum Qualifications :
Master's degree and 4 years related experience in business, public administration or administrative services, or bachelor's degree and 6 years related experience; or equivalency. Successful completion of an advanced Microsoft Word skills and intermediary grammar test is required. These tests will be administered by Employ Test.
