We invite applications and nominations for a full-time faculty position in Pediatric Dentistry, in the clinical track at the assistant/associate professor rank. The Division of Pediatric Dentistry provides an outstanding clinical, academic and research education to predoctoral dental students and graduate students in the program's 30-month MS degree pediatric dentistry program. The division has state-of-the-art clinical facilities based at the School of Dentistry and has strong faculty and staff support. The program has both school and hospital based clinical environments. Candidates for this position should have a D.D.S. or equivalent degree and advanced training in pediatric dentistry. ABPD certification. Prior teaching experience, demonstrated scholarly activity, and record of service and leadership to the profession and specialty is desirable. Responsibilities will include didactic and clinical teaching in the predoctoral and/or residency programs, scholarship and service activities. Leadership opportunities are available for appropriate candidates. Appropriate dental licensure in the State of Michigan required; however, a Clinical Academic Limited License may be available for qualified candidates. Candidates must be eligible to work in the USA. Faculty practice opportunities are available. Salary and rank will be commensurate with experience and training.
