Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant)- Geriatrics - External Per Diem
Hours: 10 hour days Weekdays (No Weekend/Holidays)
We Are: Our highly skilled Advanced Practice Provider (APP) team at Memorial Sloan Kettering is comprised of over 800 Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants. We are currently seeking an APP to provide Geriatric Oncology consultation to the 65+ inpatient population.

You Will: Work Full-time 10 hour shifts, excluding weekends and holidays Provide expert geriatric consultation and ongoing management to the 65+ adult patient in an independent and collaborative practice model Collaborate with disease management teams and members of the Geriatric interprofessional team to care for cancer patients and support their families
Qualifications needed for a PA candidate are:
Graduate from an accredited PA program NCCPA certification Active NYS license, or be qualified for state licensure A minimum of 3 years of related experience is preferred BLS certification
Qualifications needed for a NP candidate are:
Active NYS RN and NP licenses, or be qualified for state licensure Masters degree in nursing, prescriptive privileges (or eligibility) Related National NP certification A minimum of 3 years of related experience is preferred BLS certification
