The IT Services Financial Manager is a critical role for our department, serving as a key focal point for the colleges in relation to technology spending. Primary areas of accountability include managing IT Services operating budget and vendor portfolio while building relationships with campus and external constituents. Reporting to the Deputy Chief Information Office, and teaming with the IT Service Program Coordinator, this role provides coordination of fiscal planning for the IT Services department and oversight over technology spending and vendor management.

Responsible for development, management, auditing and monitoring of the IT Services annual operating budget.
Meet regularly with institutional finance department and IT Services leadership to develop budget management and planning processes and, when necessary, initiate corrective actions to address and accommodate institutional financial process changes.
Collaborates with IT Services leadership and Business Office in monitoring campus-wide technology spend along with inventory of technology-related assets and capital goods.
Assists IT Services leadership in development of the annual budget request package and Board of Trustee reports for the division.
Serves as primary focal point for vendor and contract management.
Oversees procurement of technology related equipment, services, and solutions. Negotiates pricing and contracts for IT Services.
Performs regular assessment and analysis of vendor contracts to find opportunities to minimize expenses.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Business Management, Computer Information Systems, or related degree and 5+ years of experience; or 10+ years of experience in lieu of Bachelor’s Degree.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills are essential.
Outstanding leadership, planning, facilitation and organizational skills.
Demonstrable analytical and problem-solving skills required.
Experience using systems and/or productivity tools (Microsoft Office Visio, Excel, Word, etc.) to support core job responsibilities required
Ability to manage, motivate and create a work environment based on teamwork.
Experience in a technology services or related field desirable
Ability to coordinate and manage multiple initiatives concurrently and facilitate communications between teams.
Ability to meet deadlines essential.
Supervisory / managerial experience a plus.
