The Chemistry Department at Hobart and William Smith Colleges in Geneva, NY invites applications for a one-year Visiting Assistant Professor (VAP) position beginning July 1, 2021. The Chemistry Department is looking to continue its programmatic and educational excellence in preparing undergraduate students for careers and future study in the chemical sciences. The teaching load is five courses per year, including introductory lectures and/or laboratories.

Applicants should have a Ph.D. in chemistry field or be ABD. Familiarity with work at liberal arts institutions is highly desirable. Appointment will only be made at the Visiting Assistant Professor rank or instructor rank depending on qualifications
