Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking an Administrative Analyst IV for the Office of Education at the Dean's Office at the New Jersey Medical School. Under the direction of the Program Administrator, the Administrative Analyst IV will create and administer systems to support the Assistant Dean for Basic Sciences and Faculty Development and Program Administrator of the Office of Education.
Among the key duties of this position are the following:
Responsible for compiling, analyzing, and presenting quantitative and qualitative data in various formats.
Assists the Assistant Dean in coordinating and facilitating Office of Education activities related to the administering of the academic curriculum and faculty development programs.
Coordinates and provides support for the OSCE (Observed Structured Clinical Examination) includes scheduling and training of standardized patients.
Consults the evaluation committees to develop appropriate forms and data collection tools.
Manages notification to committee members of all scheduled meeting dates, attends and takes minutes of all meetings.
Minimum Education and Experience:
Minimum of two (2) years of experience performing related tasks in a college environment.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Comprehensive knowledge of state and federal laws affecting students, institutional record requirements, and knowledge of accreditation standards.
Must demonstrate a high level of customer service and interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and organizational and problem-solving ability.
Ability to maintain a high level of discretion and confidentiality.
Ability to perform job duties with very minimal supervision, effectively prioritize work, multi-task, operate with a sense of urgency and adjust to changing workloads and deadlines.
Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
Ability to write business reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
Ability to present information and respond to questions from diverse groups of staff, faculty, students and the general public.
Above average proficiency with MS Office products, including Access required; working knowledge of Banner, or comparable electronic databases.
