The Department of Biostatistics seeks a biomedical data scientist with expertise in biostatistical consulting and analysis of biomedical data including clinical and observational data. The candidate will design innovative solutions to data science questions within the Dept of Biostatistics, working with team members to perform and disseminate innovative translational research. The candidate will collaborate with research partners across campus to design research studies, implement appropriate statistical methodologies to answer research questions, and interpret findings. These tasks will involve development of plans for data management and statistical analysis, statistical programming, data visualization, automated report generation, and scientific writing. As a data science project lead, the position will promote the service mission for biostatistics, data science, and biomedical informatics on a regional, national, and/or global scale. The position may be on campus or fully remote.
