The Stewardship Reporting team manages and executes a program dedicated to providing standardized reporting functions at scale and with a level of personalization that enhances the experience of Brownâ™s donors. Using a blend of technology, design/creative skills and business process management, the team delivers data-driven reporting as well as curated narratives. These functions are the core of Brownâ™s efforts to document, celebrate, and communicate the impact of giving to Brown.
The Stewardship Reporting Officer is responsible for producing reporting that informs donors about the impact of their giving in clear, specific, and meaningful ways. The Officer will execute the scholarship matching process for over 1,000 scholarship funds, produce reports for all scholarship funds in the annual stewardship reporting process, and work to engage students to enhance scholarship reports to the universityâ™s top donors. The Stewardship Reporting Officer also partners with key stakeholders to collect and curate needed information to create or populate standardized donor reporting for other fund types. As the owner of this information, the Officer also serves as a valuable partner for Advancement colleagues seeking to report on the impact of giving of specific donors. As a member of an innovative and collaborative team, the Officer is constantly seeking new ways to leverage tools and technology to make their work more efficient, scalable, sustainable, and most importantly, personally meaningful to donors.
Education and Experience
Bachelorâ™s degree required
Experience in data reporting and/or digital marketing preferred
Minimum 3 years relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
Demonstrated data-mindset; ability to design and execute complex mail merge operations
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Demonstrated excellent written and oral communication skills
Work independently while managing complex processes and delivering high-quality products
Must have strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with a diverse set of business partners
Demonstrated ability to support a community of diverse perspectives and cultures in an inclusive environment
